Jan Wiśniewski was born on 02.02.1921 in Buczacz, in the district of Buczacz, in Tarnopol region. He died on 13.05.1944. He was buried at the Polish War Cemetery at Monte Cassino. At the time of death, he served in the 1st Infantry Battalion as a fusilier.
